The pharmacies in Mexico are ....different.
Besides the obvious service of filling your prescriptions... many of the Farmacias have a doctor on site that can see you for about 30 pesos (about $3.00 usd)
You can also "buy time" for your cell phone - or recarga su telephono~
More GOOD NEWS I have never had to drop off my prescription and wait or come back. You walk up to the pharmacist, hand them your prescription, pay and leave with your medicine... and with the prescription still in your hand...sometimes..depending on what the prescription is.

Contrary to popular belief...Mexico does not sale narcotic drugs, they are too addicting!

Could you give the location of these Farmacias around "Centro" that have doctors for less $. The one seen last year for my son ( in back of pharmacy) was $M150.!!

Well James, due to this new development, I cannot give you exact locations - till later in the year. IF my memory serves me right....the Farmacia Similares offer this price. The new clinic on the island over by the gazebo also offers consults for 30 pesos.
