for a special message.....I received an email today that has brought my attention to a very serious situation....Some one...Some how...has supposedly moved Mazatlan to the Antarctic Circle!!

it certainly feels like it - here are some reports we have received:

• People are  sitting at their computers in sweats wrapped up in a blankets!  Wondering...Why they didn't think to put a heater or fireplace in their houses here in Mazatlan and surrounding areas?

• Locals are wearing layers... a t-shirt, sweat shirt, and leather riding jacket, and still chilly......luckily, in the pocket of my one ladies leather jacket, were her gloves and ear warmers......She  can't believe she has to use them here!!!!!

• Another one says "I have a big, and I mean big, puffy down coat (brought it in case we went skiing from here), and I have been wearing it today!!!  We're already sleeping with the down comforter!!  If the stupid wind would stop, it would be at least better!"

I am sitting here under the covers, with two more blankets than usual, wool socks, a thermal shirt, sweater and a blankie over my shoulders ...a heater...right next to me and I am still chilled....Wondering when this situation will be reversed and all will be back to normal....It's the humidity...it has to be.... 

I can not compare cities today...no one is out around here...we are all wrapped up and in bed trying to stay warm....No one can be out causing problems...not today ~
