Today's "violence" comparison of two cities - will be, of course, Mazatlan and New Orleans Louisiana. Both about the same size...

• A woman was found dead in her home - Her home was ransacked, it appears to be a robbery gone bad.

In New Orleans  ~

• A man died at a local hospital Wednesday night after being shot at least once, New Orleans police said.
• Investigators are searching for a robber dressed in hunting camouflage who held up a woman at an Old Metairie automated teller machine with a rifle, then drove off in a Lexus.

• New Orleans overnight crime report for Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2011

  • Aggravated Battery (A Stabbing)
  • Armed Robbery (knife)
  • Armed Robbery (gun)

There are more things I could report for New Orleans...but it is blatantly clear, I do not need to.....I am not having fun, reading all this horrible stuff~~ BUT, the picture is crystal clear...
