Need a Blanket ~
SO .......this morning sometime around 3 am or so..I needed my blankie ! I have now..officially, become a Mexican...It is 70- 80 degrees and I need warmth! Never thought this girl from Colorado would say that!!
I remember when my family use to visit here in the 1970's ~ we would see some locals wearing "down jackets" remember those big old bulky things?
I would giggle to myself, thinking ...these people sure are funny. NOT realizing they thought I was nuts being in the "frigid waters" of the ocean!! Heck - the water was nice ...back then...now I need a wet suit to get into the water in the "winter months"...SEE ...official...only the year rounders think the ocean water is cold here in January....
and..... NO.......It is not old age! ......How dare you!! ..It is called acclimating or in my case acclimated
So, all my friends packing and heading this way....bring your blankies!!
