You know the old saying..."A picture is worth a 1,000 words"?  These words may NOT always be the truth!~ It really depends on WHO is telling the story!

The other day I heard someone speaking about a rumor going around ....about them...they shared it with me; I was shocked! As, I was there when this "rumor" began and in no way were the things being said about this person correct.

The "other person" that begun the rumor has been saying that.......OKAY..hold on this is to confusing...so lets use fake names....
hmmm ...

The person that the rumor is about.... will be called Sue

The person spreading the rumor is ...Dick.

Dick says to people " Sue stole the wiring out of these houses, look here.... this is a picture I took of Sue stealing things!"

What a wonderful opportunity for us ALL to remember that...when a picture is worth a thousand words...that those words maybe somebody else s  twisted lies!! 

Yes, it may appear that Dick has photos to "back up" his story...but Dick is an evil person (we will not get into details here) 

So, YES it can appear that Sue is a thief according to the story that Dick is sharing.  BUT the real story is FAR - FAR from Dick's twisted story.

Isn't that how it can go though??? We listen to others and want to believe...then these little stories come popping into our heads...either from someone like Dick...or .....well, the possibilities are endless.

So the next time you see some thing "live or in picture" stay out of storytelling mode and ask questions!

Things can be so much more simple....don't you think?
