Had a great conversation today with some friends. People pleasers became a predominant topic.  It seems as though I was the odd man out. 
Out of this group of friends I was the one with a background in people pleasing.  I shared with them how I felt about the balance that was necessary.....how, as with anything....an out of balance people pleaser was...well...not in a good space.

I am happy to announce after hours of great conversation that they began to see people pleasers in a different way..in other words...though this process they were awakened..or more simply stated...they understood this type of personality a bit more.

Our conversation reminded me of how we humans, can go right into negative thinking - when we do not understand where another person is coming from. People pleasers can be looked at as weak individuals and though this could be true...it is not true across the board and certainly not true in only the case of people pleasers.

To say that one facet of a personality type equals one way for a person to be ...is ludicrous.  Kind of like saying that water is only good one way...warm. 

To me its the unique aspects of individuals who make up who they are, not one facet (or aspect).  If the world did not have a variety of unique personalities...how BORING would this planet be??

SO bring it on....Open the mind and cherish the different aspects of people ask questions and get to understand others better...this does not mean you have to change who you are...just do not expect them to change either...simply....be open to understanding what makes another person...tick!
