Today is a dear friend and business partners birthday......Kate - Happy Birthday!!

She is such a caring soul and has the ability to organize congress....to bad she didn't have the time or desire!

On top of all the things she is heading off right now - her and her husband have a beautiful home in the mountains (up Rist Canyon)  that they have put up for vacation rental.  Their home is off the grid, solar, earth bermed and Peaceful!!!

Kate and Ken have moved to Fort Collins to assist and oversee her brothers health care and for the time being you can rent out their peaceful retreat ... Check it out!  SunHaven

It was great to spend Kate's birthday with her and Deanna at Sun Haven..what a treat ~ The humming birds were there in droves.....ahhh...and the wild flowers!! (Deanna is my other "bestest" girlfriend, she was our graphic designer and art director for our magazine)

What a great place for a small wedding, family reunion or simply a day, weekend or week with the family...In fact Kate had a mother and two teen kids come to stay there - they were planning to go rafting and horseback riding in the canyon north of Rist Canyon...and instead they loved the place so much that the family stayed at Sun Haven and played board games and put puzzles together!!

Now that's what I call good family bonding!
