Worries ~
I have been thinking about why we, ashumans..have this tendency to worry so much. There is a time and aplace to "worry" I guess the time to worry, would be when ~~ what you are worrying aboutis legitimate and secondly if you can do some thing about it.
Because if the answer to these two questions is not yes, then what good is worrying going to do?
Lets say that you leave a room and later you think..did I leave the candles burning? First Question = is this a legitimate concern...YES, the house could burn down if that darn cat jumps up and knocks the candle down! Second Question = Can I do something about this?...YES, you can get up and go see! Okay..a legitimate worry ...and you deal with it.
But what about the other worries??? You know the ones like, If this happens then that might happen then allheck could break loose. But if that happens instead of this....YOU GETTHE IDEA....... Our minds can be great...story tellers.
Some say that "worrying" can be a self sabotage. I got to thinking about that comment and I can see how this could be true. It all goes back to that ...spending time on things that keep you from what you really want to and should be doing...If that's not self sabotage ..then what is?
I also think (worrying) ties well into keeping the adrenaline pumping..so being aware of this, may be - yet one more way to address your health and become more HEALTHY and relaxed ~
Again, taking responsibility for your health...some times not so simple.....but certainly important
